Cave Database

The goal of the Online Cave Database is to assemble all available cave data for the state of Florida in one central, easily accessible location. Professionals from all walks will be able to use the data in their applications ranging from environmental planning to construction projects to computer groundwater flow modeling. All of these uses, however, lead to the overarching goal: education.

By incorporating the most recent and most accurate data into projects, researchers and developers gain better knowledge of the world around them. In turn, this knowledge can be disseminated to a wide range of people and increase awareness of issues involving caves, groundwater, and pollution.
