2022 Conference Information

It’s been three long years, but we are excited to finally be able to welcome you back to Florida! We’re off to a running start on Friday morning in High Springs with a Fun Run open to everyone, and in the evening, a chance to greet old friends and make new ones at the first of our event socials. This year’s conference attendees will get an insider’s view of GUE’s new Project Diver program, with a unique opportunity to join some of the Core Module presentations from leading educators, scientists, and explorers. Lectures on Saturday will take place at our favorite conference center, the Gainesville Hilton, and we’ll wrap up the day with appetizers and cocktail hour. Sunday provides you a chance to go diving with your teammates or GUE instructors, or join us for more presentations at a new venue in High Springs. Afterwards, we’ll close out the conference there with a Halloween party and bonfire.

GUE Fun Run

Join us for our inaugural community fitness activity! We’re excited to introduce this in our hometown and have planned a 6k and 12k route that leads participants through a quaint High Springs neighborhood, along a nicely paved trail to Poe Springs, and back to GUE Headquarters. We won’t be timing people and there won’t be age categories or divisions of any kind. The idea is to go have FUN, and we’ll have brunch waiting for you at The Watershed restaurant when you’re done. The fee also includes a fun event tee! Any proceeds will be donated to Project Baseline.

Price: $30

Thank you to our generous sponsors!

Thank you for considering sponsorship of the GUE Conference! If you have any questions or would like to become a sponsor, please contact HQ.

Sponsorship is open to the entire dive community, including manufacturers, dive shops, and instructors. The levels below can apply to monetary donations or donations of goods (such as dive gear and accessories, dive destination packages, and class spaces) with a matching retail value to be used for the conference itself or for the global silent auction that will be held during the conference. This will allow all of our members, not just those attending the conference, to see the items up for auction, place bids, and help support GUE’s mission. The auction will have a very large audience, providing advertising to an international group of divers interested in quality, cutting-edge products and equipment.
