Celebrating 15 years of education, conservation, and exploration!

Conference festivities will kick-off Friday night with a meet & greet social at the University of Florida Hilton. Continued there on Saturday will feature guest speakers and wide-ranging topics followed by a dinner social in downtown Gainesville. Sunday we head north to GUE's home in High Springs for a day of diving, workshops, and fun followed by a dinner social in downtown High Springs. We hope to see you here!

High Springs is located just 25 minutes north of Gainesville in beautiful North Central Florida. Local airports include Gainesville (GNV), Jacksonville (JAX, 1.5hrs north), and Orlando (MCO, 2hrs south).

There are a number of options for accommodation in the Gainesville, Alachua, and High Springs area. Conference activities on Friday night, December 5 and Saturday, December 6 will take place at the Hilton University of Florida. GUE Conference attendees can receive a special rate at the Hilton by booking through the link to the right, but only for a limited time, so book as soon as possible! Sunday, December 7 Guided Diving in High Springs
Guiding services will be provided for free during Sunday's diving sessions. More information on how to sign up will be sent to attendees once registration is complete. Dive site admission not included.

Monday and Tuesday, December 8-9 Guided Diving High Springs
Rate includes guide, tanks, and gas (Nitrox in doubles only)
Full Day $250/person
½ Day $150/person
$50 discount for each additional person (max 3)

North Florida Field Trip, Monday, December 8
Join Dr. Todd Kincaid and Project Baseline Program Manager Vanessa Belz on a full-day tour of North Florida. Meet at GUE HQ then head to the Santa Fe River for a canoe trip and O'leno State Park for a sinkhole hike. After lunch travel to Gainesville for a hike on Payne's Prairie and a tour of Devil's Millhopper sinkhole. $40 includes your transportation for the day, lunch, and canoe rental.

MCEP Science Project, December 10-14
The Mexico Cave Exploration Project along with CINDAQ (Centro Investigador del Sistema Acuifero de Quintana Roo) invite GUE divers to join the bi-annual science project in Ox Bel Ha, and satellite cave systems. The mission is continuing with sediment trap collection, calcite monitoring, temperature and depth logging, and remote camera traps. Visiting scientist from MC Master University in Canada will be presenting some of their latest findings, and assigning relevant tasks.
