<title>GUE divers contribute to survey, science and exploration in Mexico</title>
<description>From June 14 to 19, twelve GUE divers from six different countries participated in the annual Science, Survey and Exploration project held in Quintana Roo, Mexico. Twenty-one dives were conducted from seven different sites ranging from open water transects to cave penetrations of more than 3,600 m / 12,000 ft with depths ranging from a few meters / ft to 75 m / 250 ft.</description>

<title>Portugal's first Cave 1 class</title>
<description>GUE’s Cave 1 classes are traditionally associated with exotic trips to Mexico, Florida or France. Our plans to undergo GUE overhead training also started with an exotic trip in mind, but the recent change to GUE’s teaching standards allowing (under certain conditions) the realization of overhead classes in just in 1 cave system made it possible to do the class at home.</description>

<title>INAH and NAS Underwater Archeology Training in Mexico</title>
<description>GUE divers in Q.Roo from PET, MCEP/CINDAQ joined together from June 3 to 6, 2010 to pursue training in underwater archeology. This survey program took place in Tulum under the guidance of INAH & NAS. The training covered the history of underwater archeology worldwide and in Mexico, project management and objectives, underwater survey techniques, data collection, conservation, and excavation/recovery techniques.</description>

<title>Californian GUE Demo Day 2010</title>
<description>Los Angeles GUE instructors Karim Hamza from Hollywoodivers and Steve Millington from LA Scuba Diving organized a GUE Demo Day for the local diving community at the Cleveland High School pool in Reseda, CA. Single-tank setups and doubles setups were prepared for people to take out for a test dive. GUE divers Thomas Mann and Joe Tugas were there to assist. Altogether, 13 people came to participate or help out.</description>

<description>December 3-5, Riviera Maya, Mexico. After five successful years, GUE is pleased to announce a new conference format that will strive to provide an ideal blend of social and educational formats. During even-numbered years (2010, 2012, etc.), GUE will emphasize activity and social opportunities with lectures, workshops, tours, and diving. During alternating, odd years (2011, 2013, etc.), GUE will focus upon a larger audience of speakers and lecture presentations.</description>
